Dr Soni is an authority and an expert in Robotic Gastro-Intestinal & Hernia - AWR Surgeon in India. He is one of the pioneers in establishing the culture & practice of Robotic Program for Benign Gastro - Intestinal surgery in the country. He is a tech savvy maverick who keeps in-depth knowledge about the variables involved namely, the disease pathology, Surgery & the Robotic platforms, for a successful Robotic program.

  RAS in Benign Gastro-Intestinal cases is his domain expertise, esp. Hernia - Abdominal Wall Reconstruction, Gall Stone Management - Cholecystectomy, Fundoplication & Hiatal - Diaphragmatic Surgery, Rectopexy to name a few.

  He has numerous modifications to the Instrument choreography & port placement philosophy to his credit. He is considered a master in helping kick-start economically viable Robotic programs at all the Proctored centers, making him one of the best Robotic Surgery Teachers in the country.

  He is currently a Proctor with Intuitive Surgicals and has trained numerous Surgeons (60+) and their teams in RAS, including issuance of equivalency certificates for Surgeons.

   He leads multiple programs aimed at training in RAS under his HerniaX & L.A.R.K.S Surgery Training modules. These would be open to all specialty in collaboration with other leading Robotic Surgeons from various surgical branches.
